Key hanger marker board!

This was SUCH a quick, easy, and inexpensive project! Everyone
must make one of these- pronto!!
I purchased this picture frame for a little under $7.oo at Michael's and inside of it is a piece of scrapbooking paper which was $o.59
I had these little screw in hooks already, they came in a frame hanging kit... I am sure you would be able to buy them without the whole kit... unless you need one, I highly recommend them!

Dress up for boys!

Welcome to my take on dress up for boys! This is so super
easy, and totally fun! Finally the princess can be saved by a knight instead of
spider man (last year’s Halloween costume)

To start I got these great hats at Michael's for like $1 or $2 each
I then found some t-shirts and felt in matching colors...

Use your imagination, and do a little google image searching
for some inspiration!
I sewed all the felt pieces directly on to the t's, but you could also use fabric glue. I also used 'puff paint' for all the details.
Here is what I have come up with so far:
Here they are hanging in my son's bedroom! I think that they are so cute, and we have a lot of fun with them!

I can’t POSSIBLY be the only one... can I...?

I can’t possibly be the only one who bought this super cheap
highchair, can I...?

Times can be tough with a new baby around, and cosco makes
very reliable products for a great price!

However, after two years of heavy-duty wear-and-tear our budget
friendly chair looked... trying to think of a nice way to say this... can’t- it
looked disgusting and embarrassing. We have the money now to buy a nice chair,
but that would just be wasteful (which we are not) so, here we go! THIS is how
to spruce up your ‘gag me’ chair!
This is the eye sore before:
(After many failed attempts at taking a picture that does
this justice, I gave up. Here is a nice picture of a ghastly chair.)
Off to the fabric store we went!

My son is very fashion forward and chose the fabric himself!
(I hold one up, him: NO! I choose another, him: NO MAMA! Finally we agree on
one...)

You will Need:
Fabric (I got 2 yards, but you really only need 1 1/2)
Clear vinyl (same as above)
Bias tape
Heavy-duty needles
THAT IS ALL! DO NOT let them talk you into heavy duty thread
or anything else ridiculous (I say this from experience- I was a big sucker!)

The clear vinyl will come with a white paper backing for
protection- you will be using this to make your pattern!
I cut pieces of the white paper from the vinyl and put it
over the chair to trace what the pieces should look like, and this is what I came
up with.

Now use your imagination and that crafty knack of yours and
slap that baby together!

The end product should be a slip cover with the exception of
the arms. The arms of the chair can be
unscrewed and the fabric fastened on by the screws when they are replaced –OR-
cut the original side of the chair off and make the replacements extra-long so
they now sneak right under the arms and fasten with velcro under the seat of
the chair. The second method can also be executed without having to use a
screwdriver, however the arm rest will be covered.

Batta boom... batta bing... AMAZING!!

Tips I learned the hard way:

DO NOT sew vinyl side up (foot directly on the vinyl)!!! Use
bias tape for any hem edges!!
Measure twice, sew once!!!
Thats about it! Let me know if you need any help!
